TERMINATION IN EVERY TERMITE
DID YOU KNOW THAT HOMEOWNERS AROUND THE GULF COAST OF TEXAS CAN SPEND AN AVERAGE OF $4500 A YEAR ON TERMITE REPAIR?
Your needs are important! Therefore, a treatment plan that is based on the layout of your home and the degree of your home's layout should be customizable to those needs. Imperium will create a customized plan tailored to your specific needs.
PESTICIDE FOR TERMITE CONTROL
A non-repellant termiticide that Imperium Pest Solutions offers contains the active ingredient Fipronil. It is a phenlpyrazole, and its mode of action is to block GABA activated chloride channels. We utilize Taurus SC, and it has become the predominant termiticide used today.
SOIL TREATMENT FOR SUBTERRANEAN TERMITES
Effective soil treatment depends upon dispensing a sufficient amount of chemical to establish a barrier wherever there are termite entry points in each type of construction. The amount of chemical applied is determined by the professionals at Imperium Pest Solutions - the concentration of formulation and the rate of application.
BAIT AND TECHNOLOGY APPLICATION
Imperium can control a colony locally - either eliminating it or suppressing it to the point that it no longer damages a structure. To be successful, we can employee products that are non-repellent, slow acting and readily consumed by termites. There are three main types of bait products we utilize:
- Ingested toxicants or stomache poisons
- Biotermiticides or microbes
- Insect growth regulators (IGRs)
Each type has a unique feature and is used differently in our termite control program. Ingested toxicants have the quickest effect.
IMPERIUM TERMITE SERVICES
This technique allows a wide variety of treatment strategies but is more involved than a spot treatment.(See definition below.) Ex: treatment of some or all of the perimeter, bath traps, expansion joints, stresscracks, portions of framing, walls and bait locations.Pier and Beam: Generally defined as the treatment of the outer perimeter including porches, patios and treatment of the attached garage. In the crawl space, treatment would include any soil to structure contacts as well as removal of any wood debris on the ground. Slab Construction: Generally defined as treatment of the perimeter and all known slab penetrations as well as any known expansion joints or stress cracks
Any treatment which concerns a limited, defined area less than ten (10) linear or square feet that is intended to protect a specific location or "spot." Often there are adjacent areas susceptible to termite infestation, which are not treated.
This type of treatment may include interior and/or perimeter placement of monitoring or baiting systems along with routine inspection intervals. The baiting technique may include one or more baiting locations as prescribed by the product label and instructions.
If a physical device is used, the square footage of the physical device must be recorded and a diagram describing the installation will be provided.
Imperium Pest Solutions will perform a thorough examination of your property by checking your basement or crawlspace for moisture, your foundation for wood debris, and other risk areas that may attract an infestation. Imperium utilizes state-of-the-art equipment such as IR thermometers, moisture meters, and termite detection systems to help him scientifically assess your home.
When we are done, you will receive our recommendation, complete with customized digital diagrams and a Department of Agriculture Inspection Report outlining problems we identified, as well as recommended plan to protect your home from termites.
